Here a tough and compact companion, for my friend Dario from USA. A custom, one piece as usual, made for work and more. Hope it will serve him with love and passion as I made it.

Made in 4mm (.157″) D2 tool steel, hot blued. About 7,2mm (2,56″) sharp as hell. Orange sculpted handles, nylatron washers, hot blued stainless hardware. All handmade as the black denim sheat.

Lume Friction Folder

This is a friction folder that my friend Lume asked to me.
Something looking like a Santoku shape but sturdy and about 9cm (3,6″) in D2 tool steel. Thick enough 4mm (.157″) about to make any tasks.

With handmade denim sheat.

I was something slowed down by many business things, and now I’m trying to regain some more time. I’m a little late on some projects but they shuold go ahead. Show must go on and very quickly!
Here there are the new neckers coming. Small precious and very sharp thingies. And some full size blade with a leaf shaped blade and three finger grip. More compact and stiil powerful.

Yeah! Another batch of great friction folders are coming soon.
Here there are the latest batch of baldes out from the oven of today.

Please notice the bigger knife in RWL 34 stainless steel, that came out almost without any decarburization.
This is a sign of great foil wrapping.

Olive Burl Utility Review

It’s a real pleasure to show here one of the first review made by a customer on British Blades forum.

The text:
Back in July I had the fortune to buy a set of three small utilities from Mostho.
The blades vary in length from 5cm to 7,5 cm so these are not big knives by any stretch of the imagination.
When I got them and spent some time trying them out, I took an immediate liking to the middle brother.
Stefano made these out of O2 with brass fittings, red liners and beautiful 300 plus years old olive burl.

It does a great job in the kitchen. The high arch makes for great knuckle clearance and it loves to chop and slice.
The butt is perfectly flat and works a treat for cracking pepper and garlic cloves.
Another point of satisfaction is the ease with which the edge is kept sharp.
I am sure I will find equal qualities in its bigger and smaller brother, but for now this one has scored high marks.
Comes in a nicely made, tight fitting belt sheath. So at some point it will undoubtedly get a taste of the outdoors.

MIP Necker #01

Here it is! My model of small necker, made from a 5mm (.20″) thick D2 steel properly heat treated for a long lasting razor cuts. Blade length is 3cm (1.2″) and overall is 10cm (4″). As-from-the-oven finish: it is very tough and gives some characther. The sheat is on the way.

I’m very proud of it because it is small but thick enough to perform very well any small task.
It’s a Multum In Parvo necker.

Here it is out of the oven of today. Hard and fatiguing, also the hot temperature of these days will not help.
All these knives are well heat treated> they will be great fixed knives!

Work in Progress – Custom Neckers Update #1

Here the picture of the custom neckers in D2, updated.Ready for the oven.

Notice the grinds on the spear pointed one. A small badass!

Both of them probably will be left in as-from-the-oven finish for the blade flats to ebhance the grindlines.
