My favourite knife

Here it is…

One of my first knife, a small kiridashi that I use daily for several, thousands little tasks (from open boxes to scraping or glue removing, etc.)
Hand made with Iroko handles, O2 carbon steel with fair hig hardness. Small! A small over 1/2″ blade (1,5cm) and 2,5″ (6.5cm) long. But how I love it!

Need to know that every single project that I make, I do it for passion. A burning passion.
Every project is made with mind, heart and soul. Every where there is my name and the name of our lab Bro Workshop there is love, passion, dediction.

From the biggest camp knife to the smaller friction folder, from micro kiridashi to a portable screwdriver, from a huge tactical spike to a kitchen knife.

I really put a lot of love in every metallic effort, because this is the way that every craftmanship has to be done. This is my main guarantee. Do you think is not enough?

Moreover all my projects are intended to be used and used, possibly everyday, by every people so I’m open to new challenges every time they are showing to me.

Some scrappy are next to come and will began micro kiridashi, small screwdrives or whatever.

Black Kiridashis

Two black kiridashis asked to me from my brother-in-law, since he is a luthier and we share a lot of space in our labs.
They was made to work with wood and to work a lot in our mind.

They are well treated, made by 1095 steel and brut de forge or hammered finish.

Love Kiridashi

Small but hell razor sharp with his half convex grind.
Made by O2 steel, purpleheart and home made pins. Also the leather sheat is stamped with home made stamps.
Big… overall 7cm. Love kiridashi because it’s the knife forged for my love, always in her bag.

It’s cute. It’s love driven.

Pink Ivory Kiridashi

A present for a friend of mine that gave some help and trust.

UHB20C Steel,4mm thick. Length about 14cm. Razor Sharp 2,5.
Pink Ivory handles (a beautiiiful wood mates) very rare, dense and marvellous wood. Finished with linseed oil.
Handmade Copper/Brass Mosaic pins, copper rivet and lanyard hole.
Organic cotton lanyard and wood beard.

I really love and enjoy kiridashis, I hope you will like it too. As daily tool they are unsurpassable!

Pencil Sharpener

A small Pencil sharpener, made by a small piece of O2 steel. It’s a small kiridashi styled pencil sharpener.

This small beauty is entirely made by me. Black Satin MyComposite handmade handles, copper handmade mosaic pins from scrap tubing and pin made by copper cable.
